Hounslow armed police incident: Young man shot in housing estate in stable but serious condition

A man in his 20s who was shot on a housing estate in Hounslow is now in a serious but stable condition.

The victim had been rushed to a west London hospital on Monday night (August 28) where he remained in a critical condition after suffering gunshot wounds.

Armed police were called to Edgar Road at around 11.35pm after reports of gunshots and found the victim.

Police have not made any arrests and are making enquiries in connection with the Hounslow Heath estate shooting.

Trident, a special gang crime unit within the Metropolitan Police , is assisting Hounslow Police with its investigation.
