Wembley stabbing: Police appeal for witnesses as six males arrested

Police in Brent are appealing for witnesses and information following the stabbing of a 17-year-old in Wembley.

Six males aged between 16 and 18 have been arrested on suspicion of affray, officers said, and they are currently in custody at a north London police station.

Police, paramedics and air ambulance crews rushed to Wembley High Road at 3.30pm yesterday afternoon and found the teenage boy with a stab wound.

He was taken to a central London hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Detectives from Brent Borough CID are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.
