211A man in his 30s has been arrested and bailed to return in late April after police searched a home in Highfield Estate

A machete and bags of drugs were taken off the streets after police searched a home in Feltham, earlier this week.

Officers from the Feltham West Safer Neighbourhoods Team (SNT) searched a property on Highfield Estate on Monday (24), at 4pm, where they seized a large cleaver-like knife, along with baseball bats, around £4k in cash, and stolen phones.

A large haul of what police believe to be cocaine and cannabis as well as drugs paraphernalia were also discovered in the house.

The raid was part of the London-wide Operation Hawk to tackle drug dealing.

A man in his early 30s was arrested at the scene on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs and money laundering.

He was taken to a West London police station and bailed to return for further questioning in late April.

Sergeant Nigel Treacy of Feltham West SNT said: “This warrant was executed as part of Operation Hawk, Hounslow Police will continue to disrupt, deter and arrest drug dealers.”

Anyone with information about drugs should call crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or 101.
